JHernando and KEMARO partner to bring industrial cleaning robots to Spain
JHernando is expanding its portfolio of automation solutions through a new partnership with KEMARO, a Swiss specialist in autonomous industrial cleaning robotics. Under the agreement, JHernando will distribute KEMARO's range of autonomous dry-cleaning robots in Spain. These robots are designed to automate the sweeping and collection of dust and debris in warehouses, logistics centres and production facilities.
The partnership adds a new area of automation to our portfolio, complementing the intralogistics solutions we already provide. In many industrial facilities, cleaning large floor areas still relies on manual processes or equipment that requires an operator. KEMARO robots offer an autonomous, programmable alternative, helping to keep working areas clean without the need for water or chemicals.
Autonomous cleaning robots for industrial environments
KEMARO develops its own robotic systems in Switzerland, specifically designed for industrial and logistics environments where dust and debris are a daily challenge. Its technology makes it possible to automate the cleaning of large floor areas while also reaching difficult-to-access spaces that would otherwise require manual cleaning.
The range JHernando is introducing to the Spanish market includes two models, the K900 Gen II and the K700 Compact, each designed to meet different operational needs. The K900 Gen II is intended for autonomous cleaning in industrial and logistics facilities, while the K700 Compact, standing just 25 cm tall, can reach confined spaces such as areas beneath racking, machinery and other structures.
This versatility is particularly valuable in automated warehouses and distribution centres, where racking systems, conveyors and restricted-access areas can make conventional cleaning difficult. KEMARO robots can navigate these environments autonomously and operate alongside other mobile equipment, making it easier to integrate automated cleaning into increasingly sophisticated facilities.
Dry industrial cleaning without water or chemicals
One of the key features of KEMARO technology is its dry sweeping and vacuuming system. The robots collect dust and debris without using water or chemicals, making them particularly well suited to warehouses, logistics centres and production environments.
Their autonomous operation also allows cleaning tasks to be scheduled and monitored remotely. Through KEMARO Sphere, users can manage cleaning tasks, schedules and designated areas, access information on robot activity and oversee their entire fleet.
For JHernando, this agreement opens up new opportunities to automate everyday operations within industrial and logistics facilities, addressing a task that has traditionally fallen outside the scope of intralogistics projects.
