JHernando was in Global Robot Expo 2019 (GR-EX) in Madrid
On the 8th and 9th of May the Global Robot Expo 2019 (GR-EX) was held in Madrid, at IFEMA. An exhibition with four independent areas, devoted, respectively to Industry, Logistics, Aerospace and AI, and in which we exhibited, in the Global Lean´s Showroom, some of our solutions dedicated to intralogistics.
We showed to those who visited us a powered extendable conveyor manufactured with the highest technological and quality standards, in a demo area where customers could see the utility of the conveyor in logistics environments and warehouses.
We also had a fully operational a Bedal system. This static module of data capture system (DWS) allows to measure the dimensions and weight of the cartons and is an effective tool to manage intralogistics warehouse, and the visitors could see how it works in person.
Finally, we had a 3D printer from our partners of TRD, a company based in Madrid specialized in 3D printing and its applications in different sectors. In recent years, 3D printing has established as a feasible and economical proposal for the creation of small parts for sorters or conveyor belts, to reduce costs in sectors such as logistics in the pharmaceutical industry or in electronic commerce .
In conclusion, it was an attendance success that we hope to repeat next year.
